Position: SAP BASIS / Solution Manager / Cloud ALM Consultant
We are seeking an experienced SAP BASIS / Solution Manager / Cloud ALM Consultant to manage, monitor, and support SAP landscapes across on-premise and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, Solution Manager (SolMan) configuration, and SAP Cloud ALM, ensuring high system availability, performance optimization, and proactive system management.

This role plays a critical part in maintaining the technical backbone of SAP systems, supporting implementation, migration, and upgrade activities for SAP S/4HANA, BTP, and SuccessFactors environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage SAP BASIS administration for S/4HANA and related systems, including installation, upgrades, patches, and system refreshes.
• Perform system monitoring, tuning, and performance optimization to ensure stability and high availability.
• Configure and manage SAP Solution Manager (SolMan) functionalities such as:

• System Monitoring, EarlyWatch Alerts, Change Request Management (ChaRM), Technical Monitoring, and ITSM.
• Landscape Management, Maintenance Planner, and System Recommendations.

• Implement and support SAP Cloud ALM for project management, testing, and operations monitoring in S/4HANA Cloud and hybrid environments.
• Manage user administration, roles, and authorizations across SAP systems in line with security and audit compliance standards.
• Coordinate transport management using STMS and CTS+ for ABAP and non-ABAP objects.
• Support HANA database administration, backup/recovery strategies, and performance analysis.
• Ensure smooth integration between Cloud ALM, Solution Manager, and BTP for end-to-end visibility and control.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network, and cloud teams to ensure seamless system connectivity and platform performance.
• Participate in system migrations, upgrades, and S/4HANA conversions, ensuring minimal downtime and successful cutover execution.
• Document system architecture, configuration, and operational procedures.
• Provide 24x7 support coverage for critical incidents and participate in disaster recovery testing.
• Drive continuous improvement in monitoring, automation, and proactive alerting practices.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 8–12 years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration, including S/4HANA environments.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP Solution Manager (7.2 or later) and SAP Cloud ALM setup, configuration, and operations.
• Proficiency in SAP HANA DB administration, Linux/Windows OS, and SAP Transport Management.
• Experience with SAP BTP connectivity, Cloud Connector, and Integration Suite monitoring.
• Understanding of SAP security concepts, GRC, and system auditing standards.
• Experience managing hybrid landscapes (on-premise + cloud) and multiple SAP components (FICO, MM, SD, HR, etc.).
• SAP Certification in BASIS, HANA, or Cloud ALM preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Maximum notice period: 2 months.
